 Job Description:

  • Under the direction of the foreman carry out work in relation to the delivery of signing schemes within the public highway.
  • The work will cover all aspects of signing works within the highway.
  • When not working as part of the sign gang you will be expected to carry out other Civil Engineering Duties such as Excavation, Kerbing, Drainage, Tarmacing and Paving.
  • Dealing with snow clearance and other winter duties as required.
  • Any other comparable duties as required.

 

Principal Disciplines/responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret sign drawings, complete relevant paperwork associated with installing the works.
  • Ability to carry out traffic management to chapter 8
  • Ability to lay various materials associated with Civil Engineering Works including.
  • Kerbs
  • Drainage
  • Paving
  • Tarmac
  • Excavation of Materials

 

Preferred Qualifications/Education
Preferred CompetenciesSkills:

Essential

  • Relevant CSCS card
  • NRSWA Operative
  • Current clean driving licence
  • Participate in winter maintenance duties
  • Current HGV 2 driving licence
